Haikus from Lorna Collins
One day I was here,
clearly near, but far away
I’m late, in a state.
My art sets me free:
keep going through the throwing,
I grow, starting here.
This pencil is red.
This sharpener is orange.
This paper is blank.
Haiku by Gayle Bluebird
Hold me in your arms,
As I am starving for love,
For your large warm arms.
Haikus by Harvey Newman
Challenges are great
Even though many fear them
I keep living them
Living in this world
Multiple Universes
Are always handy
Ice cream calls to me
I can’t wait for their flavors
So I say goodbye
Haikus by Kira L.
Beauty is ugly
Ugliness is beautiful
Both lack full value
I like balancing
Most perspectives in my life
Imbalance scares me
Haikus by Dan Frey
What a tiny scamp!
Always in and out/in out
Hold your breath tonight
Nazis run amok
Killing me softly tonight
I am freedom’s song
What the fudgsicles!
Pray for happy miracles
Content with wise otters
Haikus from Gayle D
I like warmer days
Now it’s much warmer Today
I can bask in it
The grass is green here
Don’t judge books by the cover
Sleep well, it’s peaceful.
Staying here praying
Today will be a good day!
Never give up dreams.
Haikus from Amanda
As a mom it’s hard
To watch your son’s wrestling
Their heads went backwards
Arms pulled backwards too.
I just want to yell get off!
But I have to cheer
